This Privacy Policy explains how Intimate Eminence (“Intimate Eminence,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and safeguards information when you visit intimateeminence.com (the “Site”), subscribe to our newsletter, interact with our social links, or click our affiliate links.

We aim to keep things simple, transparent, and compliant with applicable laws, including the EU/UK GDPR and relevant US state privacy laws (e.g., California).The Site is operated by an individual (no incorporated company). For privacy matters, the controller is the individual operating Intimate Eminence, reachable at info@intimateeminence.com.

1) What we collect

A. Information collected automatically (when you visit the Site)

• Network & device data: IP address, date/time, pages viewed, referrer, user-agent (browser, OS, device type).
  – This is generated by our hosting/CDN (Framer) and standard server logs to keep the Site running and secure.

• Cookie-less analytics: We use Framer Analytics in a privacy-friendly, cookie-less mode. It aggregates high-level metrics (pageviews, referrers, device types, countries) without persistent identifiers.

B. Newsletter (Beehiiv)

If you subscribe, we collect your email address (and any optional info you choose to provide). Beehiiv processes delivery, list management, and unsubscribes.

C. Affiliate links (Skimlinks)

When you click an outbound affiliate link, our partner Skimlinks (Connexity group) may set cookies or read similar identifiers to attribute sales to us and to prevent fraud. That means third-party tracking technologies may operate when you click those links.

Important for EU/UK visitors: We will show a consent banner and won’t run non-essential cookies/trackers (e.g., affiliate tracking) until you consent. You can withdraw consent anytime.

D. Correspondence

If you email us, we’ll receive the contents of your message and your email address (processed via Zoho Mail).

E. We do not intentionally collect…

• Government IDs, sensitive categories (health, biometrics, etc.), or precise geolocation.

2) Purposes & legal bases (EU/UK GDPR)

We process personal data only for the purposes set out below and on the corresponding legal bases under Articles 6(1) GDPR.

Operating and securing the Site.
When you visit the Site, our hosting/CDN generates standard server logs (e.g., IP address, timestamp, user-agent) to deliver pages, maintain availability, prevent fraud and abuse, and troubleshoot incidents. We rely on legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) to operate a secure, reliable website.

Privacy-friendly analytics.
We use Framer Analytics in a cookie-less, aggregated mode to understand overall performance (e.g., pageviews, referrers, device types) without persistent identifiers. This processing is based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) in measuring and improving the Site.

Newsletter.
If you subscribe, we use your email address to send editorial updates and manage your subscription via Beehiiv (including unsubscribes). We process this data on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you provide at sign-up and can withdraw at any time.

Affiliate monetization.
When you click an affiliate link, Skimlinks may use cookies or similar identifiers to attribute referrals and prevent fraud. In the EU/UK, any non-essential cookies/identifiers for this purpose will only run with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). We may rely on legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for basic click-through events that occur before any tracking is activated, solely to route you to the merchant.

Communications.
If you contact us (e.g., by email), we process the information you provide to respond and manage the conversation. Depending on context, this is based on legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) or, where applicable, performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).

Withdrawing consent.
Where we rely on consent (e.g., newsletter, non-essential affiliate tracking in the EU/UK), you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. See Your rights below for how to contact us and manage choices.

3) Cookies & similar technologies

• Essential/strictly necessary: Minimal technologies needed to deliver pages and ensure security. These run without consent.

• Non-essential (require consent in EU/UK):

  • Affiliate tracking (e.g., Skimlinks).

  • Any future advertising, remarketing, or embedded third-party trackers (not currently used).

Banner/Preferences. For EU/UK visitors we display a consent prompt offering Accept All / Reject All and granular choices. Your preferences can be changed at any time via the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer.

Using only cookie-less Framer Analytics does not require consent. Adding affiliate tracking via Skimlinks does.

4) How we use your information

• Provide, operate, and secure the Site.

• Measure performance in aggregate to improve content (cookie-less analytics).

• Send newsletters you requested and manage your subscription.

• Attribute affiliate referrals and keep monetization fair.

• Respond to inquiries and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information.

5) Sharing & processors

We share data only with service providers (“processors”) that help us run the Site:

• Framer (hosting, CDN, analytics; EU-based provider).

• Beehiiv (newsletter & email campaign platform).

• Skimlinks / Connexity (affiliate network & tracking).

• Zoho Mail (email hosting for info@intimateeminence.com).

These providers act on our instructions and implement security measures. We may also share data if required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

6) International transfers

Our providers may process data in various jurisdictions (including the United States and the European Union/UK). Where required, appropriate transfer mechanisms are used (e.g., EU–US Data Privacy Framework, Standard Contractual Clauses). 7) Retention

• Server logs / security events: typically 30–90 days (or per hosting provider’s operational need).

• Newsletter data (Beehiiv): until you unsubscribe, then minimized or deleted per provider’s rules.

• Affiliate events: retained by the affiliate network per their operational/accounting requirements; we keep only minimal records necessary for reconciliation and tax.

• Emails: as long as needed to handle your request, then archived or deleted periodically.

We’ll keep data longer if required by law or to establish/defend legal claims.

8) Your rights (EU/UK)

If you are in the EU/UK, you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object, and data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9) US state privacy notices (incl. California)

At our current scale, we may not meet thresholds to be a “business” under certain US state laws (e.g., California CPRA). Even so, we honor reasonable requests to access or delete personal information where feasible. If you are a California resident and believe CPRA applies, contact info@intimateeminence.com.

We do not sell your personal information as “sell” is defined by CPRA. If we ever introduce targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising, we will update this Policy and provide opt-out options.

10) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (HTTPS/TLS, access controls, least-privilege accounts, provider security features). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11) Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for a general audience and not for children under 16 (and not for children under 13 in the US). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact info@intimateeminence.com and we will delete it.

12) AI-generated imagery (transparency)

We publish AI-generated images that depict editorial concepts and styles. These images are not photographs of real individuals and are not used to infer biometric identifiers. This section is informational and does not grant any license to our content; rights to Site content are governed by our Terms.

13) Cookies and Similar Technologies

Summary. We use a minimal set of technologies to operate this Site and to monetize editorial links. We avoid marketing cookies by default. In the EU/UK, any non-essential trackers only run after your consent and you can change your choice at any time via Cookie Settings (see footer).

• Affiliate tracking (consent in EU/UK). When you click certain outbound product links, our partner Skimlinks (Connexity) may set cookies or read similar identifiers to attribute sales and prevent fraud. These trackers are non-essential and therefore require prior consent for visitors in the EU/UK. Outside the EU/UK, local rules apply.

Legal bases (EU/UK GDPR)

• Do Not Track: Many browsers offer “DNT.” There is no common standard; we honor your explicit choices made in Cookie Settings.

Retention and lifespan

• Strictly necessary / hosting artifacts: short-lived and/or session-based; server logs are typically retained 30–90 days for security and troubleshooting.

• Affiliate identifiers (Skimlinks): duration varies by merchant and network policy. For current lifetimes and identifiers, see the vendor’s documentation; we configure our banner to load these only after consent in the EU/UK.

• Analytics: Framer’s cookie-less analytics do not place persistent identifiers; data are reported in aggregate.

Third-party vendors

• Framer (hosting/CDN and cookie-less analytics).

• Skimlinks / Connexity (affiliate network and tracking).
  Each vendor acts as our service provider under its own policies and security measures. Where required, appropriate transfer mechanisms (e.g., SCC/DPF) apply.
